Hell of a year for TV. Hell of a year.

In case you're wondering, here's my judging criteria:

1) Effectiveness as an individual episode (with an emphasis on writing/acting/artistic achievements within the given episode)

Well, it's that time of the year again, when the leaves turn, the nublie young co-eds return to Oakland, and the new network / cable shows start flaunting their wares.
